Venice Beach hardcore outfit XCOMM have officially announced their debut album Time To Burn, set for release on May 22 via Blowed Out Records. Alongside the news, they’ve dropped a new single and music video for “Borrowed Happiness”, giving the clearest look yet at what the full project is building towards.

The album has been produced by Ross Robinson, known for his work with Korn, Slipknot and The Cure. It pulls together the momentum the band have built since emerging in late 2025, with earlier singles like “Fake ID” already racking up millions of views. In a short space of time, they’ve also landed on the NME 100 for 2026 and opened for Foo Fighters at a sold out charity show.

Speaking on the album, drummer Revel Ian said, “Ross Robinson transformed us into musical weapons that will blow your head off when you play our record.” Frontman Michael Gatto added that recording the album was “truly incredible,” highlighting “Borrowed Happiness” as a standout track and one they love playing live. Robinson himself described the sessions as full of “untainted expression,” even jokingly calling them “daycare” due to the band’s energy and youth.

Time To Burn

The release lands as XCOMM continue to build their live presence, with upcoming appearances including California Chaos Festival in Los Angeles and dates on Warped Tour 2026 in Washington D.C. and Long Beach. Time To Burn arrives May 22nd.
