TX2 have returned with their latest single “Confession”, a deeply personal new track that sees bassist Corky stepping forward vocally alongside Evan Thomas for one of the band’s most emotional releases yet.

The single arrives as TX2 gear up for a packed summer across the UK and Europe, including appearances at Download Festival, Rock am Ring, Rock For People, Graspop, Nova Rock, and more. It also follows the release of the band’s debut album End Of Us, which dropped earlier this year via Hopeless Records and helped push the fast rising alternative act to over 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and a sold out debut UK headline tour.

Speaking on the meaning behind the track, Evan Thomas shared: “I grew up religious, and as a queer person when I was growing up I struggled hard with my sexuality. I thought there was a demon in me and something was wrong. Then I realized the problem wasn’t me, it was religion directly conflicting with science and my attraction.”

He continued: “Confession was my chance to regain that power I felt like I lost when I first realized I wasn’t straight. For Corky on the other hand, it’s much more. She spent even longer feeling guilty and trapped and this is her chance to let it out. This song is powerful to us.”

TX2 have continued building momentum through both music and community, with collaborations involving artists like Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, From First To Last, Magnolia Park, and DeathbyRomy helping establish them as one of alternative music’s most talked about new names. Outside the music, Thomas has also built the “X Movement,” a fan driven Discord community focused around mental health support and creating safer spaces within alternative music.

The band are currently out supporting Black Veil Brides before heading into a stacked festival season and further touring later this year alongside Ice Nine Kills, Hollywood Undead, and Catch Your Breath.
