Turnstile Summer has officially ended — and we’ve entered Militarie Gun Autumn.

The LA five-piece have just unleashed their brand-new album God Save The Gun, and honestly, it’s everything fans were hoping for. Packed with anthemic hooks, gritty emotion, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting, this record cements Militarie Gun as one of the most exciting bands in modern hardcore.

Militarie Gun – ‘God Owes Me Money’

Leading the charge is “God Owes Me Money”, the BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record in the World that’s already being dubbed “tragically catchy” by Rolling Stone. It’s the perfect encapsulation of the band’s sound — raw energy meets melody so big it could fill arenas. The track sits alongside previously released singles “B A D I D E A” and “Throw Me Away”, all woven into a record that pushes the boundaries of what hardcore can be.

Frontman Ian Shelton digs deep throughout, turning the spotlight inward this time around. “Over the past couple years, as I spoke about addiction from the perspective of someone affected by it, I became the one struggling with it,” he revealed. That honesty bleeds through every track, giving God Save The Gun its emotional punch and sense of unfiltered humanity.

With producer Riley MacIntyre (Adele, Arlo Parks, The Kills) behind the desk and a newly locked-in lineup—William Acuña, Kevin Kiley, Waylon Trim, and David Stalsworth—Militarie Gun sound tighter, louder, and more confident than ever. It’s the kind of record that could blast from basement speakers or headline stages without losing its soul.

If Life Under The Gun was the introduction, God Save The Gun is the breakthrough. It’s hardcore’s next evolution—melodic, vulnerable, and still ready to swing.

The band’s already on the road with The BAD IDEA Tour across the U.S., before bringing God Save The Gun to Europe and the UK in early 2026 with White Reaper and Spite House, then joining Joyce Manor next spring. Tickets here!
