Stray View are back with Vanity, a bold new track that takes aim at criticism and the culture of judgement that comes with it.
The single centres on self reflection, but not just in the way you might expect. Rather than turning inward quietly, Vanity challenges the people who are quick to judge others without examining themselves. It’s a direct message about hypocrisy and the frustration that builds when opinions are thrown around without accountability.
The band describe the track as a call to look in the mirror. That idea runs throughout the song, confronting the habit of projecting insecurities onto others while avoiding personal responsibility. It’s reflective, but it carries weight.
Musically, Stray View continue to blend heavy alternative textures with atmospheric elements and emotionally driven vocals. Dave Escamilla’s delivery sits at the front of the mix, balancing intensity with clarity, while the band build around him with sharp guitar work and driving rhythms.
Since forming in 2023 and signing with Hopeless Records, Stray View have quickly positioned themselves as a rising force in the alternative scene. Vanity feels like another step forward, confident in message and execution.

The release lands ahead of a major spring tour alongside Melrose Avenue and Autumn Kings, with dates stretching across North America and tickets already on sale.

With Vanity now out, Stray View aren’t just reflecting, they’re holding up the mirror.
