Sincere Engineer have released another taste of their upcoming fourth album Probable Claws, dropping brand new single “Fast Forward, Rewind” alongside an official music video.
The track follows previous singles “Cooler” and “Twist My Tongue” as the Chicago band continue building toward the release of Probable Claws, their first full length record since 2023’s Cheap Grills. The album was recorded at Chicago’s legendary Electrical Audio studio and is set to feature 11 tracks.
Speaking on the single, Deanna Belos said the song reflects on wanting to revisit different moments in life, comparing it to “the Adam Sandler’s Click of songs” due to its focus on speeding through difficult moments and slowing down the good ones.
The upcoming album appears heavily focused on themes surrounding time, growing older and moving through life too quickly. Belos also shared that the band intentionally set out to make a “straight forward pop punk record,” while still keeping the emotional songwriting fans have come to expect from Sincere Engineer.

Probable Claws marks the band’s first full length release in three years and continues a strong run for the Chicago outfit as they gear up for the album’s full release later this year.
