Show Me The Body have never been a band to play it safe, and their new single “Sabotage” is proof of that. The New York hardcore disruptors have reimagined the iconic Beastie Boys anthem, turning it into something that feels both familiar and completely fresh. It’s not just a cover—it’s a call to arms, a reminder of what it means to be loud, unapologetic, and unshakably present.
Produced by Kenneth Blume, this version of “Sabotage” has already been tearing up their live sets, and now it’s arrived with a music video created in collaboration with Popular Front, the independent conflict journalism platform. The video blends raw footage from Show Me The Body’s surprise London pop-up show in Southwark Park with striking archival visuals, amplifying the band’s message of solidarity, resistance, and radical love. And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve dropped a collaborative t-shirt with Popular Front to mark the occasion.
Frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt put it best: “To work together on ‘Sabotage’ is a self-fulfilling prophecy. New York band with a New York song reaching out to the world at war with a message of love and solidarity.” It’s a statement that perfectly sums up SMTB—always loud, always political, and always rooted in community.
The release lands just as the band gears up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album Body War. On October 17th, they’ll drop a special anniversary vinyl edition and host a hometown show at Brooklyn’s 99 Scott. Expect a stacked bill with all New Yorkers, including Roc Marciano, Wiki, Fatal Realm, Baby Osama, Ferment, and of course, Show Me The Body themselves.
Nearly a decade after Body War shook up the hardcore world, SMTB are still finding ways to push the genre into uncharted territory. From banjo-driven chaos to confrontational live performances, they’ve built a legacy defined by risk-taking and community. Whether through their CORPUS collective or their ever-growing list of collaborations, Show Me The Body continue to defy expectations while holding fast to their DIY roots.

So, whether you’re blasting “Sabotage” on repeat or gearing up for the Body War anniversary show, one thing’s clear: Show Me The Body aren’t just playing music—they’re setting off alarms, making sure the world pays attention.
