Riley! have announced their new EP To Live And Die In The American South, set for release on July 17 via Pure Noise Records. Alongside the announcement, the South Texas emo outfit have dropped the new single “Another Round of Radical ‘Ritas, Please” featuring Tades Sanville of Hot Mulligan.
The five track EP marks the band’s first release through Pure Noise Records and follows on from 2024’s Keep Your Cool. Recorded in Austin, Texas with producer Phil Odom, the release also features guest appearances from Eric Egan of Heart Attack Man and Gabe Wood of Saturdays At Your Place.

Speaking about the new single, the band explained that it was the first song written specifically for the record, with the goal of creating something more upbeat and accessible. They also revealed that Tades originally only planned to record one section of the song before accidentally adding vocals over an instrumental break that the band ultimately decided to keep.
Riley! have steadily built a name for themselves across the modern emo scene since forming in 2020, combining Midwest emo influences with deeply personal songwriting and DIY touring. The band say the new EP reflects themes of isolation, identity, connection and finding community while growing up in South Texas.
The EP’s full tracklist includes:
- Roll For Initiative
- Another Round Of Radical ‘Ritas, Please (Ft Tades Sanville / Hot Mulligan)
- Two Bucks (Ft Eric Egan)
- Backseat Bartender (Ft Gabe Wood)
- 73 Summers
