Movements are back with a brand new album. The Southern California band have announced Happier Now, set for release on September 4 via Fearless Records, alongside two new singles, “Dissolve Me” and “Back in My Ways”.
The record marks the band’s fourth full length album and follows 2023’s RUCKUS!. Produced once again by Will Yip, the album is said to blend elements of the band’s earlier sound with the direction they explored on their most recent material. Alongside the announcement, the band also dropped a combined music video for both new tracks.
Speaking about “Dissolve Me”, vocalist Patrick Miranda said the track became an important starting point for the album’s direction.
“It felt like the perfect culmination of energy, emotion, and growth for us sonically,” Miranda explained, adding that the song focuses on struggles with social interaction and the way those feelings can build over time.
Miranda also spoke about “Back in My Ways”, admitting the track took time to grow on him before becoming one of his favourites on the record. He described it as a song that connects back to the band’s earlier material while still fitting naturally into this new era of Movements.

Happier Now features 12 tracks including “Dissolve Me”, “Back in My Ways”, “Everything Is Fine” and the title track. The announcement also arrives as the band prepare to appear on this year’s Warped Tour, continuing what’s shaping up to be a huge year for the group.
