Lavalove are back with another taste of their upcoming album, dropping new single “Go Go Boots” alongside a fresh music video.
The track follows earlier singles “Sniffin’ Around” and “Never Better”, giving a clearer picture of what Tan Lines is shaping up to be ahead of its release on April 3. And if this one’s anything to go by, they’re fully leaning into that carefree, sun-soaked energy.
“Writing a classic party girl anthem has always been a goal for us,” says singer Tealarose Coy. “We believe this song completely encapsulates the night-life in Los Angeles and how it feels to be a girl out with her friends.”
That vibe runs through the track. It’s bright, catchy, and built for late nights, with a hook that sticks straight away. There’s a clear shift here too, with Lavalove pulling in more of that surf and indie influence while still keeping things punchy.
The album itself has been produced by Anton DeLost and looks set to blend a mix of surf rock, garage, indie, and psych-pop into something that feels both nostalgic and fresh. It’s rooted in that idea of escaping the bad stuff and chasing better moments, whether that’s nights out, new love, or just being around the right people.
Across the tracklist, there’s a mix of high-energy cuts and more reflective moments, but everything seems to tie back to that same feeling of wanting something more out of life and actually going for it.
