Ten years ago, Copacetic introduced the world to Knuckle Puck’s emotionally charged, riff-heavy brand of pop punk. Today, the band is giving that pivotal debut a second life—this time, the way they always intended it to sound.
The remixed and remastered edition of Copacetic, released May 2, 2025, arrives as part of the album’s 10th anniversary celebration. But this isn’t just a cosmetic update or a cash-in on nostalgia. For Knuckle Puck, it’s a redemption arc.
“We remixed and remastered all of Copacetic ahead of it turning 10, since the OG mix never sat fully right with us,” the band shared. Fans have long echoed similar sentiments: while the songwriting was strong, the original release often felt flat and muddy, lacking the punch and clarity it deserved.
Now, tracks like “Pretense,” “Disdain,” and the sprawling closer “Untitled” hit harder than ever. Guitars are brighter, vocals are clearer, and the rhythm section finally breathes the way it was meant to. It’s a reminder of how impactful Copacetic truly was—just with the volume turned up and the mud wiped clean.
To mark the moment, Knuckle Puck have also dropped limited edition vinyl variants including Violet, Windbreaker Exclusive, and Maleficent Exclusive versions, all available now via their webstore. There’s also a fresh merch line inspired by the album’s original aesthetic.
And for fans eager to hear the remixed versions live, the band has confirmed special anniversary shows are in the works. A decade later, Copacetic is getting the celebration—and the sound quality—it’s always deserved.
