Ice Nine Kills are back with a brand new track, “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)”, released alongside the launch of Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come, which hits cinemas today.
The song ties directly into the film, appearing both within the movie and over the closing credits, continuing the band’s run of linking their music with major horror releases. This time, it comes with a full music video, currently available exclusively on YouTube.
There’s a bigger concept behind this one too. The track is tied to the fictional glam metal band Grave Diggler, a chaotic, larger-than-life act inspired by the excess of 80s rock. The band’s history plays into both the song and the wider story around the release, blending fiction with Ice Nine Kills’ own world.
Frontman Spencer Charnas opened up about the personal side of the track as well.
“I’ve been estranged from my father for a long time,” he explained. “But this movie, and this song, while bringing a lot of complicated feelings to the surface, also brought us back together.”
The release continues Ice Nine Kills’ streak of major moments across both music and film. In recent years, they’ve worked with franchises like Scream and Terrifier, while also touring globally with bands like Metallica and building a strong crossover into the horror world.

With Ready Or Not 2 now out and “Hell or High Slaughter” front and centre, this feels like another step in that direction. It’s not just a standalone single, it’s part of a much bigger universe they’re continuing to build.
