Manchester heavyweights Guilt Trip have released their long awaited new album Armour Of Angels today via Roadrunner Records, marking a major moment in the band’s rise from UK hardcore favourites to one of the country’s most talked about heavy acts.

The release arrives just weeks after Rolling Stone UK named the band one of its Future Of Music 2026 artists, while early reviews have continued to build momentum around the record. Kerrang! awarded the album four stars, while Revolver described the band’s sound as simply “scorching.”
Alongside the album release, Guilt Trip have also shared a new video for opening track One By One. The clip features footage from the band’s Winter 2026 US tour with Malevolence and captures the intensity of the live shows that have helped build their reputation on both sides of the Atlantic.
Speaking about the album, the band said: “We are proud to unleash our brand new record Armour Of Angels on the world. We put everything Guilt Trip lives and breathes into this LP and we are excited to finally share what we have been working on over the past three years.”
They continued: “We believe these songs embody our journey from the very beginning to now, everything we have experienced over the past decade translated into twelve tracks.”

The release weekend is set to be a big one for the Manchester five piece. An Armour Of Angels x Adidas pop up event takes place on June 6, featuring the band’s own Adidas Superstar shoe collaboration, before a sold out charity show at Manchester’s Star & Garter on June 7. Proceeds from the show will support several local charities, including Lifeshare, Senior Staffy Club, Manchester Women’s Aid and Andy’s Man Club.

With festival appearances at Grasspop, Inkcarceration, Warped Tour, Lowlands and more still to come this summer, Armour Of Angels feels like the next step in what is quickly becoming one of the biggest success stories in UK heavy music.
