Grayscale just gave their track Summer Clothes a full-blown summer glow-up, and it might be even better than the original. This new version features Games We Play and Trella, and together they’ve turned the song into something warmer, brighter, and way more fun—just in time for their UK and EU tour later this year.
If you already loved the original, this remix cranks up the sunshine even more. Games We Play throws in his usual chaotic charm, Trella adds a dreamy layer of vocals, and it all blends together into the kind of track you want blasting from the car speakers with your windows down. Think less “sad boy summer,” more “main character walking into golden hour.”
Frontman Collin Walsh has said the song is all about that emotional shift when the weather changes—when you swap out your winter hoodie for a pair of shorts and suddenly life just feels better. That feeling hits even harder here. The remix somehow manages to feel nostalgic and brand new at the same time.
But here’s the best bit—they’re taking it on the road. After finishing a U.S. run with Our Last Night, Grayscale are finally heading across the pond this November for their long-awaited UK and European headline tour. It’s been delayed for years (cheers, COVID), but it’s finally happening—and with Sick Joy and Poledance joining them, it’s set to be one of the most exciting alt-rock tours of the year.
