If you’ve been keeping even half an eye on the UK heavy scene, EVILLE probably aren’t new to you anymore. After a huge breakout year that saw the Brighton trio tear through festival stages and drop their debut EP BRAT METAL, they’re wasting absolutely no time kicking off 2026 in style. Their new single ‘BLOW UP!’ is loud, bold and built to be screamed back at them in a packed room.

EVILLE – Blow Up!

The track leans fully into everything EVILLE do best. Big pop hooks that stick instantly, crushing metal moments that hit without warning, and that unmistakable Y2K edge that makes it feel fun without ever softening the impact. It’s the kind of song that feels written with live shows in mind, the arms in the air, no thoughts just noise type of energy. At its core, ‘BLOW UP!’ is about backing yourself, ignoring the doubters and going all in, which honestly feels pretty on brand for a band moving this fast.

Frontwoman Eva Sheldrake has described it as something fans can really sing along to, and you can hear that straight away. It’s empowering without trying too hard and heavy without losing its sense of play. That balance is quickly becoming EVILLE’s trademark.

If 2025 was their arrival, 2026 is shaping up to be the year they really take over. With support already rolling in from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and Alyx Holcombe, plus upcoming tour runs alongside As December Falls and Alien Ant Farm, the momentum doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon.

‘BLOW UP!’ doesn’t just build on what EVILLE started last year, it turns the volume up and dares you to keep up. If this is how they’re starting 2026, it’s probably worth paying very close attention to what comes next.
