Drug Church are back with new music.

The band have released a brand new single called “Pynch”, marking their first new material since their widely praised 2024 album PRUDE. The track arrives via Pure Noise Records and comes with a new music video.

Pynch

If you’ve been following Drug Church over the past few years, you’ll know exactly what to expect here. “Pynch” delivers the same punchy mix of hardcore energy and alt rock melody that helped PRUDE earn praise from outlets like The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Stereogum.

Vocally, Patrick Kindlon once again walks that line between sarcasm and sincerity that the band have become known for. But this time the theme might surprise people.

Kindlon describes the track as “as close as we’ve ever come to a love song.”

“This one is about meeting someone who won’t allow you to be a loser forever.”

It’s a fitting return for a band that has steadily built a reputation for sharp writing and explosive live shows. The release also sets the stage for a busy run of touring later this year.

Drug Church will head out across the UK and Europe this autumn with dates including London’s Electric Ballroom, Manchester’s Gorilla and Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, alongside appearances at Burn It Down Festival and a string of European club shows.

For now, “Pynch” gives fans their first taste of what could be the band’s next chapter.
