It’s happening—blessthefall are officially back, and they’re not easing in gently. Their new single Fell So Hard, Felt So Right just dropped, and it’s everything you’d want from a band that’s been quiet for seven long years. Big riffs, emotional gut punches, a healthy dose of nostalgia—and a surprise guest feature from none other than Dan Marsala of Story of the Year.
This track isn’t just a comeback single; it’s a statement. Frontman Beau Bokan says it’s about that frustrating truth we all run into in relationships: the “perfect one” doesn’t exist. It’s raw, honest, and loaded with that early 2000s energy that made you fall in love with this scene in the first place. And adding Dan into the mix? That’s just chef’s kiss. According to Marsala, teaming up was long overdue: “They kick ass and so does this new song!”
Fell So Hard, Felt So Right is pulled from the band’s upcoming album Gallows, which lands September 5th via Rise Records. It’s their first full-length since 2018 and promises a bit of everything—massive singalongs, filthy breakdowns, and features from Alpha Wolf and Caskets. If the rest of Gallows is anything like this lead single, we’re in for a wild ride.
Whether you’ve been blasting Hollow Bodies since 2013 or you’re just jumping on now, this new era of blessthefall feels like a proper reset. Heavy where it needs to be, catchy where it counts, and full of that energy we’ve missed from them. Welcome back, boys.
