Against the Current are officially back with another new single. The band have just released “Dead Man Walking”, the second track to be revealed from their upcoming album as they gear up to celebrate 15 years together in 2026.

The release follows previous single “Heavenly” and continues what’s shaping up to be a massive new chapter for the trio. Frontwoman Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri have spent the last few years building momentum independently, with recent singles pulling in millions of streams and pushing the band into one of their biggest eras yet.

Speaking about the meaning behind the track, the band explained that “Dead Man Walking” explores the feeling of surviving something life changing, only to come back feeling like a completely different person. They described it as confronting “the ghost of someone you once were” while everyone around you assumes you’re okay simply because you made it out alive.

Alongside the new single, the band have also announced their Til Death & Back Tour across the UK and Europe this autumn. The run includes five UK dates in Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London, finishing with their biggest London headline show to date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire before heading across mainland Europe.

With more new music on the way and bigger venues than ever before, 2026 is already shaping up to be a huge year for the band.
