The Amity Affliction are diving headfirst into the second half of 2025 with a new single that pulls no punches—emotionally or sonically. Out now via Pure Noise Records, All That I Remember marks a fresh and powerful chapter for the metalcore veterans as they gear up for a massive world tour, including a support slot on Parkway Drive’s 20th anniversary European run.

The Amity Affliction – ‘All That I Remember’

Known for their unflinching exploration of trauma, grief, and mental health, The Amity Affliction continue that legacy with All That I Remember. This time, the band gets even more personal. The track delves into the emotional wreckage left behind by a fractured parental relationship. Frontman Joel Birch describes the experience with raw honesty: “My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off; she died as she lived, paranoid and alone.”

That personal weight is echoed by his siblings, who both lent their voices to the song’s emotional context. Brother Beau adds, “Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself first,” while sister Chanel reflects on the manipulation that tore the family apart: “This song reminds me how she would pit us against each other constantly… I didn’t understand the manipulation until years had passed, and I crossed oceans to breathe.”

It’s an unfiltered snapshot of familial pain, layered over a crushing instrumental backdrop. The track also marks a significant lineup shift: Jonny Reeves officially joins as the band’s clean vocalist, stepping into the role previously held by longtime member Ahren Stringer. Reeves, already familiar to fans from his time on the road with the band, brings a new energy to the lineup. Known for his work in Kingdom of Giants and recommended by Spiritbox’s Josh Gilbert, Reeves’ inclusion feels like both a natural progression and a bold new direction.

All That I Remember arrives hot on the heels of the band’s 2024 resurgence, which saw them re-release Let the Ocean Take Me with a redux version and play a string of sold-out shows across Australia. It was a celebration of a decade-defining record—and a reintroduction of a band that has never been afraid to evolve.

The Amity Affliction will continue to hit major stages across North America before joining Parkway Drive in September for a sprawling European tour. With cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Stockholm on the itinerary, fans across the globe will have the chance to witness the band’s latest chapter unfold live.

There’s no mistaking it: The Amity Affliction are back—and they’ve got something to say.
