From headlining arenas with Blink-182 to writing theme songs for Iron Man? Mark Hoppus just unlocked a new level of pop-punk power.

The bassist and vocalist has penned the official theme for Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, a brand-new animated series coming to Disney Jr. this August. And yep, it’s exactly as catchy and chaotic as you’d expect from the guy who helped bring us Enema of the State.

Titled “Totally Awesome,” the track is pure sugar-rush energy, packed with superhero flair and Hoppus’ signature bouncy delivery. Think early 2000s Blink—but with more arc reactors and less teenage angst. It’s aimed at preschoolers, but don’t be surprised if their older siblings (or their parents) start singing along.

The show itself is Marvel’s first Iron Man series made specifically for younger viewers. It follows a young Tony Stark, Ironheart (Riri Williams), and Iron Hulk (Amadeus Cho) as they team up to take down villains like Ultron and Swarm—all with the help of a few familiar faces from across the Marvel universe. The full series premieres August 11, with shorts landing as early as July 14, and episodes hitting Disney+ the day after the broadcast.

This isn’t the first time Disney has tapped a pop-punk legend—Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump previously contributed to Spidey and His Amazing Friends. But getting Mark Hoppus onboard? That’s a flex. He’s not just writing for the show—he’s performing the track, too.

So whether you’re raising the next generation of Marvel fans or just love seeing your scene heroes thriving in new spaces, this one’s worth a stream. After all, when Mark Hoppus says something’s “Totally Awesome,” he usually means it.
