Senses have kicked off Pride Month with the release of a brand new cover of Simple Plan’s classic track “Perfect”, out now in partnership with Songs That Saved My Life.
The Los Angeles duo have reimagined the 2002 pop punk anthem as part of the ongoing Songs That Saved My Life project, which raises money and awareness for mental health initiatives. Proceeds from the release will go towards suicide awareness and prevention organisations through the programme, helping connect people with resources and support when they need it most.

Originally appearing on Simple Plan’s debut album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls, “Perfect” became one of the defining songs of the early 2000s pop punk era and remains a fan favourite more than two decades later.
Speaking about the release, Senses said: “We are so excited to be a part of Songs That Saved My Life. One of the biggest reasons we make music is to create the safe space that we needed growing up, and still need today. Mental health is such an important part of this ever evolving world, and anything bringing help and awareness to it is something we believe in so heavily, and are so proud to be a part of.”
The release arrives as Senses continue building momentum following the release of their 2025 EP onto something. The record produced fan favourite “tiptoeing”, which has racked up more than 3.8 million streams on Spotify, alongside tracks including “obsessed” and the title track. Fans can stream their version of “Perfect” now while supporting an initiative dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
