Florida hardcore risers Southpaw FLHC are keeping the momentum going with the release of their new single and video “Run Game”, taken from their upcoming album The Standard, due out July 31 via Spinefarm.

The track arrives alongside a new video and continues building hype around the band’s first full length release. Southpaw FLHC have quickly carved out a name for themselves through relentless touring, hard hitting live shows, and a DIY mentality that’s helped them bridge the gap between old school hardcore and newer influences pulled from punk, metal, and hip hop.

Speaking on the track, the band said: “It’s a tip of the hat to those who move correct and a message to those who lead in their field. ‘Run Game’ is for the wise, the fearless, and the devoted.”

They also described the upcoming album as “all gas, no brakes,” calling it a record driven by “hunger, discipline, and a relentless passion for the love of the game.”

Since forming, Southpaw FLHC have shared stages with bands including With Blood Comes Cleansing, Bodysnatcher, Surfaced, and Hoods, while continuing to grow through constant touring and a string of standalone singles. Their partnership with Spinefarm marks a major step forward for the Jacksonville band as they prepare to release The Standard later this summer.

To support the album, the band have also announced a lengthy headline run across the US throughout August and September, kicking off with a record release show at HARDLOVE in Jacksonville on August 1st.
