Koyo have officially released their second album Barely Here today via Pure Noise Records, alongside a new music video for the album’s title track.

The Long Island band’s latest full length keeps things tight with ten tracks packed into just under half an hour, following up 2023’s Would You Miss It?. The record also features guest appearances from Sammy Ciaramitaro and Marisa Shirar, while longtime collaborator Jon Markson handled production duties once again.
Speaking about the new album, vocalist Joey Chiaramonte explained the band wanted to avoid overcomplicating things on their second LP.
“With Barely Here we wanted to refine our strengths instead of doing this purposeful departure. It’s a snapshot of what our band is in its most no-frills, perfected form.”
Koyo are also gearing up for another busy touring run in support of the release. The band head to Japan later this month before joining Hot Mulligan, Joyce Manor and Saturdays At Your Place across North America this summer. They’ll also appear at Sound and Fury Festival and Louder Than Life later this year.
Fans can stream Barely Here now and watch the new title track video today.
