Lake Drive have released their new single ‘Obsessed’, marking their latest step forward as the Milwaukee trio continue building momentum in the alt pop scene.
The track arrives as the band’s newest release following a steady run of singles, with ‘Obsessed’ leaning into a slightly darker direction while keeping the catchy hooks they’ve been known for.
Speaking on the track, the band said: “This song has been two years in the making. Frankly we’ve been a bit scared to show this side of us but we’re more confident now than ever to share ‘Obsessed’ with the world. We like to joke that this song is for the boyfriends of Lake Drive fans. Heavier guitars, harsher vocals, and brutally romantic. We’re proud to showcase the darker end of our vision.”
Alongside the release, Lake Drive have also announced a run of US tour dates with Diva Bleach, as well as an appearance at Rocking Summer Fest 2026.
