If you’re into big hooks, honest lyrics, and pop songs that actually stick, today’s worth paying attention.

Rising artist Ezra has officially dropped his debut album Spoke Too Soon, out now via TAG Music, and it feels like the kind of first record that introduces exactly who someone is, flaws and all.

Packed with emotionally charged, hook-forward tracks, Spoke Too Soon dives into that messy space between comfort and vulnerability. You know the feeling: rushing into something that feels good, ignoring the red flags, then sitting with the aftermath. Ezra leans straight into those moments, pulling from the themes he first teased on his recent double single “MIDDLE GROUND” / “look so good,” and building them out into a full album that feels warm, honest, and very replayable.

Sonically, it sits in that sweet spot between nostalgic pop and modern indie. You’ll hear flashes of early-2000s radio energy, with hints of Jonas Brothers and Hanson, alongside more contemporary influences like The 1975. Every track feels built for repeat listens, catchy on the surface but carrying real emotional weight underneath.

Alongside the album, Ezra has also rolled out a full mockumentary project directed by actor and filmmaker David Mazouz. Released in episodes and now available in full, the series mixes tongue-in-cheek humour with genuine behind-the-scenes moments, giving fans a closer look at Ezra’s creative process while poking fun at the whole “rising artist” experience. It’s playful, self-aware, and a cool extra layer to the album rollout.

To celebrate Spoke Too Soon, Ezra has hit the road across the US with Braden Bales, bringing these songs to life for the first time and giving fans a chance to hear the new material in a live setting.

For a debut, this feels confident. Spoke Too Soon balances vulnerability with undeniable pop instincts, delivering an album full of bangers that still hit where it hurts. If this is Ezra’s opening statement, it’s a strong one.
