NOFX have kicked off 2026 in true NOFX fashion. Direct, honest, and saying exactly what they feel.
The punk icons have released a new single called “Minnesota Nazis”, with Fat Mike sharing the story behind it online. The song originally started life back in 2022 as “Huntington Beach Nazis,” written during six sober weeks he spent there. After what he described as recent heartbreaks in Minnesota, he decided to change some lyrics, rename the track, and release it digitally.
Mike said the song isn’t going to stop everything that’s wrong in the world, but it’s about doing what you can to help make things better. He also reminded fans to look out for each other, ending his message with a simple but powerful line: Love > Hate.
It feels less like a standard release and more like NOFX speaking their mind in real time. Political songs have always been part of who they are, and this one lands as another reminder that they still care deeply about what’s happening around them.

The track follows last year’s A To H, the first part of the band’s triple album project, packed with unreleased demos and new material. There’s also a documentary on the way titled 40 Years Of Fuckin’ Up, which will explore NOFX’s unlikely rise through punk. Preview screenings are planned for SXSW in March, with a wider cinema rollout coming this spring.
For a band that’s been doing this for decades, NOFX still aren’t afraid to say something when it matters.
Give “Minnesota Nazis” a listen and tell us what you think.
