If you’re into heavy pop punk that hits hard but still knows how to write a hook, Homebase should already be on your radar. The New Jersey and New York newcomers just dropped their ferocious new single “Nuff Said,” and it feels like a proper turning point for a band that’s been quietly building momentum in the underground. Think early Neck Deep energy with a hardcore edge, loud, emotional, and made for packed rooms.
Formed in summer 2023, Homebase came together after what started as a casual hang turned into something much louder. A bit of jamming, some pizza, probably too many drinks, and suddenly they realised the chemistry was real. Sitting between NJ and NY, they set out to blend hardcore urgency with pop punk hooks, and they’ve been grinding ever since, building their name through raw live shows and a genuine connection with anyone who steps into the room.
“Nuff Said” follows their previous single “Bold.”, but this one feels deeper and more focused. It captures that early band headspace where self doubt creeps in, creativity feels shaky, and you’re constantly wondering if you’re doing enough. Vocalist Antonio Valentino says the track became the core of what they wanted to achieve as songwriters, turning those uncomfortable feelings into something loud and motivating.
“Out of all the songs we have written, I believe ‘Nuff Said’ is the core of what we wanted to accomplish in our songwriting,” Antonio shares. “The lyrics reflect our work ethic as a new band, especially in the midst of inadequacy that constantly nagged at us… It’s not about who you are that defines you, it’s about what you do.”
Musically, it rips. Driving drums, razor sharp guitars, dual vocals and massive shout along moments all come together in a way that feels built for sweaty rooms and bouncing crowds. Where “Bold.” introduced their sound, “Nuff Said” locks it in, controlled aggression, heartfelt lyrics, and that kind of energy that makes you want to hit replay straight away.
The track has already earned a 4 out of 5 from Northern Exposure Magazine, who called Homebase “one to watch” in 2026, and it’s easy to hear why. With their DIY attitude, growing catalogue, and expanding presence in the NJ and NY scene, Homebase feel like they’re right on the edge of something bigger.
If you love your pop punk loud, emotional, and a little rough around the edges, this one’s for you.
