Dallas heavy hitters UNITYTX are stepping into their next chapter loud, clear, and completely unapologetic. The band have announced their new album Somewhere, In Between, due out March 13 via Pure Noise Records, and they’re wasting no time setting the tone.
The first taste comes in the form of new single Enjoy Tha Show, and it feels like a mission statement more than a teaser. It’s confrontational without trying too hard, reflective without losing its bite, and rooted in the exact tension that’s followed UNITYTX since day one. Being ahead of the curve but still having to fight for space. Being watched, judged, and boxed in, then expected to keep smiling through it.
Frontman Jay Webster, aka SHAOLIN G, leans straight into that discomfort. The track wrestles with identity, visibility, and the pressure to perform for people who don’t always understand where you’re coming from. Instead of reacting to every voice in the room, the song flips the script and asks what happens when you stop feeding the noise and start owning the moment. It’s less about clapping back and more about reclaiming control.
That mindset runs through Somewhere, In Between as a whole. Fourteen tracks that sound like a band shaking off expectations and reconnecting with the version of themselves that existed before industry rules, before compromises, before being told how this was supposed to look. It pulls from metal, hip hop, and electronic edges without smoothing anything over, and it never feels like UNITYTX trying to fit in. If anything, it sounds like them refusing to.

There’s frustration here, sure, but it’s productive. The kind that turns into momentum. This album doesn’t feel like a reset, it feels like a line being drawn. UNITYTX know exactly who they are, and Somewhere, In Between is them daring anyone else to keep up.
