Karen Dió is back with something a little different.

Her new single “Bexy” might sound like a full blown mosh anthem, but it actually started in the most unexpected way. What began as a live, improvised song during a fan Patreon call has now turned into an official release, and it still carries that raw, off the cuff energy.

Speaking on the track, Karen explained how it all came together in real time, writing the song live for a fan named Bex before it naturally evolved into “Bexy,” thanks to her Brazilian Portuguese influence.

The result is exactly what you’d want from her. Loud, chaotic, and built for a crowd, but with a genuine connection behind it that makes it hit even harder.

Karen Dió has been building serious momentum over the past few years, especially after “Sick Ride” blew up in 2023 and pulled in millions of listeners. Since then, she’s caught attention from names like Sum 41, Incubus, KennyHoopla, and Fred Durst, showing just how wide her reach is getting.

Now signed to Hopeless Records, she’s continuing to push forward while also putting a spotlight on the Brazilian punk scene globally, something she’s been vocal about being a huge part of her mission.

“Bexy” feels like a perfect snapshot of where she’s at right now. Fun, loud, and completely unfiltered.
