Gucci Chain Letter have released their debut three song EP, introducing a new project built from veterans of the Vancouver and Edmonton punk and hardcore scenes.

While the band itself is new, the lineup brings years of experience from underground favourites including Daggermouth, Youth Decay, This Is A Standoff and King Thief. That shared history shows across the EP’s three tracks, which blend melodic punk energy with heavier hardcore influences.

The release features the songs “Every Word I Never Said,” “Winfield,” and “Sorry Doesn’t Cut It,” offering a tight introduction to a band that leans on experience without sounding stuck in the past.

Produced by Cody Blakely of King Thief alongside Juno nominated producer Robbie Townsend, known for work with Royal Tusk and Midnight Peg, the EP was mixed by vocalist Stuart McKillop at Rain City Mastering. The result is a punchy and direct sound that keeps the focus on sharp songwriting and urgency.

Across the record, Gucci Chain Letter pull from the emotional weight and intensity that fans of bands like Militarie Gun, Fiddlehead and Small Brown Bike will recognise straight away.

The band features Stuart McKillop on vocals, Shawn Kilgrain on guitar, Nick Kouremenos on bass and Tyler Bedford on drums. With the EP now out on streaming platforms, Gucci Chain Letter are already planning live shows to support the release.

For a debut, it’s a confident first step from a group that clearly knows their way around a punk song.
