The Amity Affliction have released a new single called “Bleed,” the latest preview of their upcoming album House of Cards, which arrives April 24.

Bleed

The track follows the previously released title song and continues to introduce what the band are calling a new era. Where “House of Cards” explored vocalist Joel Birch’s relationship with his mother, “Bleed” shifts the focus toward the reality of living under constant public scrutiny.

Birch says the song came from dealing with people online who speak about his life as if they know him personally. “This song is a bit of a fuck you to people online who leave comments like they know me personally or know anything about what’s happening in my life,” he explains. “I bleed the way I bleed… is my way of saying that I am the way I am, not the way I am perceived to be by people who don’t actually know me.”

The track arrives with a music video directed by Daniel Daly and pushes the band further into the sound they are shaping for House of Cards. The record will also mark the first full length album to feature clean vocalist Jonny Reeves, adding a new dynamic to the band’s lineup.

Alongside the new music, The Amity Affliction have also confirmed a European and UK tour for autumn 2026. The run will see them joined by Silent Planet, Varials and Orthodox, with shows across Germany, Scandinavia and mainland Europe before heading to the UK for dates including London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.

With House of Cards arriving in April and a major tour lined up later in the year, the band are clearly setting the stage for a big next chapter.
