The Menzingers are back. The Philadelphia punk mainstays have released Nobody’s Heroes, marking their first new music since 2023’s Some Of It Was True and offering a familiar but refreshed look at where the band are now.
Recorded with Grammy winning producer Will Yip at Memory Music Studios in South Philly, the track leans into everything that’s made The Menzingers so consistent over the years. There’s the working class honesty, the singalong energy and that heartland rock edge that sits somewhere between gritty punk and reflective storytelling.
Alongside the single, the band have shared a self filmed music video that keeps things simple and personal. Shot in their own studio, the DIY clip captures them exactly how fans know them best, jamming, hanging out and letting the song speak for itself.
Greg Barnett explained that Nobody’s Heroes started from a very real place. The band began writing it for Tom May while he was going through a divorce, but the track quickly grew into something broader. It became a reflection on the band itself and the idea that they’re strongest when they stay true to who they are.
That theme fits a band whose catalogue has steadily evolved without losing its identity. From the breakout impact of On the Impossible Past through to the more introspective direction of After the Party, Hello Exile and Some Of It Was True, The Menzingers have built a reputation as one of punk’s most reliable voices.

Nobody’s Heroes doesn’t feel like a reset. It feels like continuation. A band comfortable in their skin, still writing songs that hit on real life moments while sounding built for a room full of voices shouting every word back.
UK fans will get the chance to hear it live when The Menzingers return for Slam Dunk Festival this May, adding another chapter to a touring story that’s never really slowed down.
