Hot Milk aren’t here to play nice. With their sophomore album Corporation P.O.P just around the corner, the Manchester band are ripping into political hypocrisy, right-wing fearmongering, and the broken systems that govern our lives—and they’re doing it loud.

Hot Milk – The American Machine

Their new single “The American Machine” is a snarling, rebellious anthem that aims straight at MAGA culture and lands like a punch to the gut. It’s angry, it’s raw, and it’s not pulling any punches. But don’t mistake it for anti-American sentiment—vocalist Han Mee is crystal clear: this is about rejecting hate, not a country. “We do not want a piece of the American machine,” she says. “It is anti-arsehole, anti-hate, anti-oligarch.”

The single sets the tone for Corporation P.O.P., out June 27 via Music For Nations, and it’s shaping up to be Hot Milk’s most personal and politically charged work to date. With production handled by their very own Jim Shaw and collaborators Zach Jones and KJ Strock, the album is packed with fierce riffs, sharp social commentary, and plenty of Mancunian grit. It’s rooted in their hometown of Manchester—a city that, as Han says, “bleeds into the art we create, because it helped me create it.”

Fans won’t have to wait long to celebrate either. Hot Milk are throwing a series of intimate album release parties and acoustic performances across the UK starting June 27, in collaboration with Kerrang!, Banquet Records, and Rough Trade. From beers at Signature Brew to acoustic singalongs in Leeds and Bristol, it’s shaping up to be a week-long party—and a chance to hear Corporation P.O.P. up close and personal.

And if that wasn’t enough, the band are hitting the road again this autumn for a headline UK tour with support from Cassyette and Silly Goose. The run includes massive stops in Glasgow, London, Birmingham, and a hometown blowout at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. These are set to be their biggest headline shows yet, hot off their Slam Dunk headline slot and a packed US tour.

If you thought Hot Milk were just getting started, think again. This new era is heavy, fearless, and full of fight—exactly what the world needs right now.
