There’s a new name echoing through the underground—and it’s demanding your full attention. Mysterious new outfit PRESIDENT has arrived with their searing debut single, “In The Name Of The Father,” a haunting and cinematic proclamation that doesn’t just introduce them—it makes a statement.

PRESIDENT – In The Name Of The Father

Released via King of Terrors / ADA, the track is a dark meditation on mortality, existential dread, and the concept of the “King of terrors” himself. It’s heavy, unflinching, and soaked in atmosphere—blurring the lines between crushing metal, brooding electronics, and something even more theatrical. PRESIDENT are less interested in fitting a genre and more focused on creating a visceral experience, and “In The Name Of The Father” is exactly that.

From the moment it begins, the single feels less like a song and more like a transmission from another realm. There are no flashy introductions or namedropping here—just the sound of something rising. According to the band, this is “the first crack in the surface.” Whatever PRESIDENT is building, it’s only just beginning to reveal itself.

Operating outside the traditional boundaries of genre and image, PRESIDENT place the music front and center, choosing to remain anonymous while letting their debut speak volumes. And speak it does—loudly, intensely, and with a chilling sense of purpose.

If you’re intrigued by this shadowy new force, you won’t have to wait long to witness it live. PRESIDENT will make their first official appearance at Download Festival 2025, hitting the Dogtooth Stage at 4:25pm on June 15. Expect something more than a performance—expect a declaration.

“In The Name Of The Father” is out now.
