Caskets are back — and they’ve never sounded more human. The Yorkshire melodic metal band have just released their brand-new album The Only Heaven You’ll Know, out now via SharpTone Records. It’s heavy, heartfelt, and brutally honest — the kind of record that feels less like a collection of songs and more like a therapy session that just happens to go really hard.

Caskets – Lost In The Violence

The album opens with Lost In The Violence, a track that sets the tone for everything that follows: huge atmosphere, cinematic production, and Matt Flood’s voice carrying enough emotion to shake the room. Alongside the release, the band dropped an official visualizer for the track, giving fans a glimpse into the chaos and catharsis that defines the album.

Speaking about the record, Flood explained that this one cuts deep: “It’s raw and unfiltered, more like an audio diary than a record,” he said. “Every song pulls you into what I was really going through — the self-doubt, the addictions, my broken relationship with faith, all of it. Facing it is what finally helped me start the healing process.”

That honesty bleeds through every note. From the dark urgency of Sacrifice to the aching introspection of Closure and the anthemic energy of Save Us, Caskets have crafted something that feels both cathartic and communal. It’s an album about pain, yes — but it’s also about finding light in the wreckage and learning how to build something beautiful from the ruins.

This release marks a new chapter for the band, who’ve already racked up over 350 million streams and toured the world off the back of their breakout debut Lost Souls and its follow-up Reflections. With The Only Heaven You’ll Know, Caskets step into their next era with confidence, clarity, and more emotion than ever before.

And if you’re ready to scream these songs back with them, you’re in luck — the band are heading out on a massive UK and European tour through November and December, with shows in Leeds, Glasgow, London, and more.
