Parisian pop-punk crew mirabelle. are officially back to raise a little hell — and this time, they’ve brought fire with them. The band has just dropped their brand new single ‘Crybaby’, alongside a music video filmed during their summer tour across Korea and Japan. And if you thought their debut album Welcome To My Funeral was bold, just wait for what’s coming next.
Because, plot twist — Welcome To My Funeral is getting the Cremation Edition, a massive extended version of the record dropping October 30th. The expanded album features four new tracks, including Crybaby, it’s fine., M3NT4L SHR3KDOWN, and a reimagined cut of Cut Me Down. Basically, it’s the final chapter of their Funeral era — and the start of something even bigger.
Speaking on the new single, the band says ‘Crybaby’ is about “being cornered emotionally. A moment of being trapped between two destructive options, where either choice pulls you under.” It’s heavier, darker, and yet somehow catchier than anything they’ve done before — a perfect taste of where mirabelle. are heading next.
Formed in 2021, the Paris-based four-piece — Dory-Loup Venta, Mathieu Rouland, Pierre Flew, and Gianni Messia — made waves with their debut Welcome To My Funeral, a self-produced project that balanced fun, sugar-rush melodies with brutally honest, death-tinged lyrics. Their signature mix of biting riffs and emotional depth quickly earned them a spot on Amazon’s Artists To Watch 2025 list, complete with a Times Square billboard and a mural in Brooklyn. Not bad for a self-released band from France, right?
When it came to expanding the record, the band saw an opportunity to push their sound even further. “The extended album is a way for us to share songs we thought were too bold at the time of writing the original record,” they explain. “Things we wouldn’t allow ourselves — lower tunings, quirky samples… it’s also a way to close the ‘WTMF’ chapter with a bang.”
And they mean it. With 17 tracks total, Cremation Edition feels like the full vision of what mirabelle. set out to create — a chaotic, emotional, and cathartic pop-punk fever dream that refuses to play it safe.

Following the release, mirabelle. will hit the road for a 14-date French tour, donating all profits to the charity Les Restos du Coeur, which helps provide food and shelter for those in need. Heart, hooks, and heavy riffs — that’s mirabelle. in a nutshell.
If Welcome To My Funeral was the wake, Cremation Edition is the fire — and Crybaby is your invitation to join the chaos.
