Italian trio blend punk roots with fresh energy on their bold new release
From Pesaro’s DIY roots to some of Europe’s biggest festival stages, Packers have come a long way—and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Today, the Italian punk/post-hardcore outfit officially drop their debut album Summer Nights Secrets, out now via Tropical London Records (IT) and distributed in the UK by Lockjaw Records.
Packers aren’t newcomers to the scene. Formed in 2022 by scene veterans Jiang Lee (formerly of Edward in Venice), Thomas Staccoli, and Manuel Tamburini, the band represents a tight-knit unit built on shared experience and sonic experimentation. Together, they’ve crafted something that feels both nostalgic and new—drawing on post-hardcore and punk rock roots while adding smooth vocal crossovers, unexpected melodies, and flashes of R&B and hip-hop influence.
The result is Summer Nights Secrets—a record that’s raw, reflective, and intentionally hard to pin down. From the very first track, there’s an urgency that carries through the album’s runtime—equal parts summer anthem and emotional gut-punch.
Packers have already made noise across Europe and beyond. With previous experience playing festivals like Punk Rock Holiday, Groezrock, Bay Fest, and SBAM Fest, they’ve shared stages with heavyweights like Bad Religion, Millencolin, Frank Carter, The Offspring, and Trophy Eyes. Now, they’re gearing up for their first UK run with a stop at Manchester Punk Rock Fest 2025, recently voted the best small festival in the UK.
