Travis Barker is officially telling his story on his own terms, with a brand new documentary, Louder Than Fear, set to land on Hulu this summer.

The film has reportedly been in the works for over a decade and will follow Barker’s life and career, with a heavy focus on the aftermath of the 2008 plane crash that nearly killed him. The crash, which claimed four lives, left Barker and his close friend DJ AM critically injured, marking a turning point that continues to shape his story today.

Speaking on the project, Barker described it as an “unfiltered look at my journey after a life-changing experience,” adding that it also highlights the people who helped him through it. Rather than just another surface-level music doc, this one looks set to dig into the reality behind the fame, including grief, recovery, and everything in between.

The documentary will feature appearances from collaborators, friends, and family, and is directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer. It also follows Barker’s previous Hulu project, Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis, which documented his wedding to Kourtney Kardashian.

No exact release date has been confirmed yet, but Louder Than Fear is expected to arrive later this summer.
