Thornhill are taking a wrecking ball to their own world — and somehow making it sound even better. The Australian heavy hitters have just announced BODIES X, a full reimagining of their 2025 album BODIES, set for release on November 7th via UNFD.
But don’t call it a remix record. The band insists BODIES X is something much deeper — a total rework of every song by artists they admire, each one adding their own flair without losing the soul of the original. “It’s a celebration of our community,” Thornhill explain. “Each artist brings their unique spin while staying true to the themes and energy of the original tracks.”
And the lineup? Ridiculous. Northlane step in to flip “CRUSH,” Landon Tewers of The Plot In You twists “Revolver” into something unrecognisable, and Void Of Vision’s James McKendrick gives “For Now” a final breath of life. Even Running Touch, Vianova, and Zetra make appearances — making BODIES X feel like the most ambitious crossover event in heavy music.
Leading the charge is “Mercia,” a dark, emotional gut-punch that captures the heart of BODIES X — cinematic, crushing, and unafraid to bleed. It follows the success of BODIES, which stormed the ARIA charts at #4, hit Spotify UK’s Top Album Debuts, and broke into multiple Billboard U.S. charts. Add to that over 100 million streams and 15 million YouTube views, and it’s safe to say Thornhill’s momentum isn’t slowing anytime soon.

Currently tearing through Europe and the UK on tour, Thornhill are closing out 2025 with a statement: they’re not done evolving. BODIES X doesn’t just reimagine an album — it redefines what a band can do with their own legacy.
