Opening with In The Name of the Father, the lead single that first got everyone talking, PRESIDENT come out swinging. It sounds absolutely massive — the kind of track that shakes the floorboards before the vocals even hit. From there, the EP shifts gears with Fearless, a track that leans into something more dancey and reflective, but still hits hard with bursts of heavy energy that keep you locked in.
The newly released single RAGE steps into EDM-inspired territory, with a beat that wouldn’t feel out of place next to Bicep’s Glue. It’s unexpected, but it works — proving PRESIDENT aren’t here to be tied down to a single genre. Then comes Destroy Me, a serious highlight. With an opening riff straight out of the 2000s playbook, it’s groovy, heavy, and easily one of the most addictive cuts on the record.
Dionysus might not land as strongly as the rest — a good track in its own right, but it feels more like a bridge to the finale than a standout moment. And what a finale it is. Conclave closes things out on another dance-leaning vibe, but it’s the stunning vocal delivery that steals the show, wrapping the whole EP in something equal parts heavy, hypnotic, and haunting.
By the time King of Terrors ends, you’re not just thinking about six songs — you’re thinking about how PRESIDENT have arrived with a debut this confident, this varied, and this unapologetic. With their tour already sold out and their sound impossible to pin down, this isn’t just a record drop. PRESIDENT are declaring a movement.
