Metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada have returned with a vengeance. The band just dropped their brand new single and video, “For You”—their first original release since 2024’s acoustic reimagining of the Chemical EP.
The track dives deep into emotional vulnerability, described by the band as “a love story unraveling through the eyes of someone hopelessly devoted to a partner who can never truly give back.” Built on a foundation of cinematic tension and sweeping choruses, “For You” feels like a bold new chapter for the band, with explosive hooks and polished production that hint at a continued evolution in their sound.
“It’s the sound of desperation meeting blind loyalty,” the band shared. “A crushing, cinematic anthem for the heartbroken. This is The Devil Wears Prada at our most expansive, with our biggest chorus to date and a fearless step into the next evolution of our sound. We’re not just pushing boundaries—we’re redefining them.”
The accompanying video for “For You” pairs haunting visuals with the song’s emotional weight..
But that’s not all that’s brewing in the TDWP camp.
This winter, the band will hit the road in support of Ice Nine Kills on their massive UK and European arena tour, also featuring Creeper. The tour kicks off in Milan this November and wraps up with a huge show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley in December.
