Neck Deep aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Fresh off the release of their 2024 self-titled album, frontman Ben Barlow has confirmed that the band is already working on new music.
Speaking with PitPass, Barlow shared that while their next material won’t be a drastic shift in sound, fans can expect a natural progression from their last album. “We’ve started working on stuff and yeah, we’re stoked already… It’s not going to be a huge departure from the last one, but we just hope that it’s an elevation and progression of that sound,” he said.
The news comes just ahead of Neck Deep’s Dumbstruck Dumbfuck Tour, which kicks off in Australia on April 21 alongside State Champs. While the tour isn’t officially celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Life’s Not Out to Get You, Barlow hinted that a few deep cuts might sneak their way into the setlist as a nod to the milestone.
Beyond the music, Neck Deep have always had a strong connection with Australian fans. Barlow told PitPass that touring Down Under always feels special, not just because of the high-energy shows, but also the post-show hangs. “Aussies have a sick sense of humour… I feel like I can be myself a bit more,” he shared.
With new material in the works and a massive tour on the horizon, it’s safe to say Neck Deep are keeping the momentum going.
